Dr. Tyus earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration with a dual minor in Marketing and Management, a Master of Arts (MA) in Pastoral Counseling, and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) in Leadership. The title of his dissertation was “Designing a Mentoring Program for Fatherless Black Males in a Post-Modern Generation.” He is a pastor, licensed realtor, professor, principal owner of Tyus Consulting, and founder and director of The I.D. Movement.
Dr. Tyus is a sought-after inspirational speaker, author, and life strategist that has presented to thousands via high schools, colleges, churches, leadership conferences, and nonprofit organizations across the country and internationally. He has been recognized for his social work by The Ohio House of Representatives and was the recipient of The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ohio Social Justice Award for his work in the community and passion for advancing change.

What you hate is often something that you’re supposed to solve. People often try to say, “What am I supposed to do in life?” And some of it is attached to what you can’t stand. What urks you. What messes with your spirit. And that is why God has called you to have that fiery passion because you have to have that in order to help solve it.
